Founder Anthony Peto on how Sewer Cleaning Company came to be:
"In my time of need, I called a large, corporate-owned company strictly because of their notoriety. I was panicked and vulnerable, and needed the problem resolved right away. I was charged over $800 to fix my drain and really didn't think much of it because I had little experience with drain cleaning companies. Later, I learned that I was taken advantage of in my time of need, and was a victim of very poor business practices."
"I built Sewer Cleaning Company based on my experience. When I realized I was taken advantage of, I felt awful. I was so passionate about not wanting this to happen to anyone else, I came up with a plan - and Sewer Cleaning Company was born."

With 21 years in the construction industry in commercial and residential applications, Anthony founded Sewer Cleaning Company in 2019 with the mission of delivering fair and affordable services to customers in need of sewer and storm maintenance and repairs. His goal is honesty, transparency and trustworthiness. He says, “There are a lot of bad actors out there taking advantage of people at a very vulnerable time, when their basements are filling up with sewage and they just don't know what to do. I want to help fix their issues so they can go back to normal living.” A carpenter at heart, Anthony loves woodworking projects. If he’s not in the wood shop, he’s enjoying the great outdoors.
One of the founding fathers of Sewer Cleaning Company, Michael is an unbelievable asset due to his many years of being a union plumber and working for similar sewer companies. His knowledge is irreplaceable. Michael is one of the most talented people to work a hydro-jet and has the ability to make the jet do things that not many people can do to serve our customers. Michael has an approach of being very steady and always taking the time to educate our customers to ease and satisfy their concerns. In Mike’s personal time, he enjoys fishing, boating, and has one heck of a green thumb when it comes to gardening.
It was the perfect aligning of the stars that a person with such knowledge and talent was available in a crisis, since Dan came here in March 2020, the very start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Dan exhibits an extensive knowledge of sewer and storm systems, especially septic systems. Dan has this unbelievable knack for internal storm system draining, most commonly known as sub pumps, and is an asset in these categories. Dan spends his free time exploring the great outdoors and also enjoys water sports.
Kelley joined Sewer Cleaning Company in November 2021. She brings nearly twenty years' experience in office administration, human resources, and customer service. Outside of work, Kelley enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years and three children. Kelley is a huge Disney fan who enjoys vacationing at Walt Disney World.
Kenny joined Sewer Cleaning Company in July, 2023, injecting a fresh wave of expertise and dedication to the team. The SCC team praises Kenny for his teamwork and collaborative spirit. Outside of work, Kenny enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, and he's even had a few "viral" TikTok videos! Kenny's favorite sport is football - you'll find him cheering for his favorite team, the Washington Commanders or our hometown Cleveland Browns!
